The Jazz Marauders bring together various cultures of the musical world into a fresh blend of composition styles. Focusing on the exciting rhythms of latin and brazilian music, we use samba, salsa, cha cha, and many other styles and forms in both conventional and new ways. Hints of Middle Eastern, African, and more traditional American jazz styles are all present. All players also contribute to the group as composers and arrangers.
